All Ethan Knows He Learned In Primary!

I copied and pasted this post from one of Jared's friends blogs. Jared made this post yesterday, and when I read it I laughed so hard that I knew it had to be posted on our family blog as well. Oh and this is a picture of Ethan at his gymnastics exhibition last year. Here is the post.......
Today Ethan and I were talking about his primary lesson. They learned about baptism. He said people get baptized with the power from the men that give it to the daddys. I said that power comes from Heavenly Father, and then he asked me where heavenly father lived. I said he lives in Heaven, to which he replied, "Yeah he lives in Heaven with the Leprachauns." When I asked him where he learned that, he said, "I saw a picture of Joseph Smith in the trees talking to Heavenly Father and Jesus, and that's where the Leprachauns live too in the trees."All, I could say was I was proud that he was paying attention in class

What! Another sick kid?

Well, this time she was really sick. We took her in on Sat. and found out she has pneumonia. So pretty much for the last few days she has done just what she is doing in the picture. Sleep. Today she started to feel better but I think she has gotten used to getting away with being cranky for the last few days and none of us are really feeling sorry for her anymore. Hopefully this is the last round of germs that make the rounds through all of us for the winter.

I can't believe it!!

Well dustin is getting married!! For those of you who have known dustin since he was a little terror who tried his best to send my parents to the looney bin, who have your jaw on the floor thinking, he is not old enough to get married or holy crap it seems like just yesterday we saw him running away from home with no clothes on, this is no joke. He got engaged this last week to a girl named Rachel from Mesa, AZ. They are getting married June 29 in the Mesa AZ Temple. Everyone really likes her and we are all very excited about the wedding (except the fact that it will be in AZ in JUNE, can we all say hot?) This picture is from the night they got engaged. Lindsay, me and my mom picked out the ring. You can't really see it in the picture, but trust me we did a really really good job.
Congrats dustin!!

Our House.....almost

Okay, so this thursday we do our final walk through for our house, and we are supposed to close on the 20th. It has been a long time coming for us (and my parents who have been so nice to let jared, me and our three hellion's stay with them since last May while the house was being built). We are very excited about our first home!! Of course I have big plans (but according to jared not a big enough bank account) for the inside so when I do get a few things done I will take some pictures of the inside and give everyone a little before and after slide show. Everyone cross your fingers that we close on time, my mom has already wanted us to start packing up the stuff we have here at her house. Unfortunately we can't do that since we still need clothes to wear for the next week or so.

Gotta Love Him

Landon, is our moodiest, funniest, most unpredictable kid. This picture just cracks me up. He looks like he should ride the short bus here. He loves to be different and difficult. We love him though and he keeps us very entertained.

Disneyland with the Moores

We were so excited to make this trip to Disneyland with the Moores. Matt, Amy, Max, and Alex are friends that we met while in Dental School. Matt was in Med School, we lived across the street from each other, we were in the same ward, and we had kids the same age. We had so much fun with them while we were living in San Antonio going to school. We all ended up in Phoenix for a little while together when matt and jared finished school. Matt is doing his residency there and Jared took a job with a dental clinic there. It was really sad when we left phoenix since we would now be living a lot further apart. They have been such great friends so it was really nice to see them for the day at Disneyland. We had so much fun and the kids were so excited to see each other (even though Mackenzie and Alex don't look too excited). We will definitely have to met up there again next year!

Bike ride

Made my first 30 mile bike ride this weekend. It wasn't exactly smooth sailing, but I did pretty good. Couldn't make it up the 12% grade 20 miles into the ride. Otherwise things went pretty well. I enjoyed the scenery, and Carson was kind enough to stay with me even though he could have outridden me backwards. I looked pretty awesome in the shorts in case you were wondering. Next time I'll have to get a picture to prove it.
